Busch Gardens Tampa has revealed exciting new details about Wild Oasis, an all-new and incredibly immersive adventure realm that opens in spring 2025. Designed to inspire the imagination and engage the senses, it will be North America’s most immersive kid-friendly adventure realm. This new region is in the park’s Jungala area.
Wild Oasis will host a variety of animal species as it transports guests into a vibrant environment inspired by the beauty and biodiversity of the rainforest.
Wild Oasis Highlights
- Up-close wildlife encounters – Meet capybaras, giant anteaters, squirrel monkeys and tropical birds in a rainforest-inspired Habitat Hideaway, which is designed for both ground-level and aerial viewing perspectives.
- Family-friendly thrills – Experience the Tree Top Drop, a 35-foot jungle-themed drop tower ride that features an immersive multimedia experience as riders are surrounded by action-packed jungle scenes in a cenote-themed environment. The height requirement is 38 inches (with an adult) and 42 inches to ride alone.
- Climbing fun – Adventurous explorers can take on the Canopy Climb. This gigantic attraction features four levels of climbing structures, 200 feet of horizontal climbing trails and vertical climbs that reach 45 feet high.
- Younger guests can cool off at Enchanted Falls, a splash pad with spray towers and fountains.
- Rainforest Quest offers guests the chance to embark on a self-guided educational scavenger hunt through interconnected natural wonders while highlighting the relationships between different rainforest species.
