As many of you may know, I serve as a “Thrill Chaser” with Busch Gardens’ Ambassador Blogger program. I take my title very seriously and spend as much of my time chasing as many thrilling adventures as I can. It’s a tough job, but somebody’s gotta do it!

I tell the world about the best in amusement parks and family fun by way of words and pictures (trust me, you don’t want to watch an hour of me on TV). However, sometimes it’s nice to see the look of extreme terror exhilaration via real live video.

Great American Country (GAC) host J.D. Scott is chasing down amusement park thrills – including food, rides and all sorts of other fun – and bringing them to a television near you. “All-American Amusement Parks” is a new series premiering on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at 8:00 p.m. (ET). Be sure to check your local listings for the channel number.

The Extreme Coasters episode will highlight some of America’s best amusement parks, including Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, Virginia. While the park has won the award for “Most Beautiful Theme Park” for more than 20 consecutive years, there is a lot of technology and high-flying adventure to go along with all of the expert landscaping. On this first episode, host J.D. Scott will give viewers an inside look at all of the thrills Busch Gardens Williamsburg has to offer. It is not known which coaster at Busch Gardens will be featured, so you will just have to tune in to find out. You can visit GAC.com for more information.

Other American amusement parks expected on the inaugural episode include Hershey Park in Pennsylvania, Dollywood in Sevierville, Tennessee, Gatorland in Florida and Holiday World in Indiana. You might even see some familiar faces from HGTV’s “Property Brothers” and “Brother vs. Brother.” After all, chasing thrills at amusement parks is so much more fun with family and friends.
