Raise a glass to toast the autumn season with a variety of craft beers from around the world at Busch Gardens Bier Fest 2017. More than 200 years of Oktoberfest traditions come to life at this third annual event.
Along with all of the global selections, more than twice as many Virginia breweries have been added to Bier Fest, which begins on Friday, September 1, 2017 and runs for eight days over three weekends – Sept. 1-4, 9-10 and 16-17.

Frozen beer selections like Larry’s Hard Lemonade, Angry Orchard Cider and Magners Cherry Cider will also be available. There will be three locations to purchase brews – England, Ireland and Oktoberfest villages.

You can’t have all of that beer without authentic German food to go along with it. This year’s selections include past favorites such as roasted turkey legs and beer-battered bratwurst as well as new items like a giant pretzel with bacon salt known as the Riesenbrezel.

Bier Fest 2017 Events
- Join the park for the tapping of the Firkin Keg each day at 11:30 a.m. at the Bier Garden Stage in the Oktoberfest Village.
- Visit the Brauhaus Craft Bier Room or Grogan’s Pub for a brewery talk. Talks will take place throughout the eight-day event.
